MIXR offers scalable cinematic-quality 3D scene generation and capture from images and videos. With multi-camera arrays to acquire training data from multiple points of view, we can produce cinematic-quality multi-view holographic reconstructions of real people, environments, and medical scenarios for healthcare professionals and patients.

MIXR is developing real-time algorithms to classify and quantify the onset of cybersickness, and will pilot and evaluate solutions and provide feedback for product and software refinement, to inform and further develop the regulatory framework within the FDA for medical XR.

MIXR is enabling telepresence over 5G/6G networks. This will be key to using XR and high-speed connectivity to bring experts and students together from around the world for tele-consulting, tele-triage, and tele-surgery.

MIXR has provided an automatic way to identify imaging abnormalities using deep-learning methods, which answers a challenging lack of medical images available for this purpose.

MIXR has developed and field tested multiple novel XR imaging and display tools, including AR for intubation and AR for external ventricular drain placement.
